Phew! Building an EMPIRE ain't easy!

Okay, I've been away a while. I didn't intend to. I really thought about coming and blogging, EVERY DAY. It did not, however, work out like that. At least I wasn't slacking off! Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it, anyway.

I have been off trying to build an empire. (chuckles) Yeah, it was just as weird writing it as it is for you to read that.

Here's the thing: Not everyone will admit they want to build an empire, because then people tend to look at them like they're delusional---and who wants that?


I DON'T have a problem saying it. People already think I'm delusional...so I might as well. *smile*


I don't want anything on the scale of international notoriety or fame or anything. No, I just want to make money in all of the areas that interest me and influence people for the better. You can interpret THAT however you want to. I'm just sayin'...

If you know me, you already know that I love FOOD, I love WORDS, LANGUAGE and LEARNING and I love MUSIC.

I figure I should at least TRY to create a business with each of my LOVES in mind. What do you think?

So, I have to earn a living. Never was an empire built without financial backing of some kind. Luckily, my "job" helps me cultivate my love for WORDS, LANGUAGE and LEARNING. I get to do daycare from my home EVERYDAY. I love imparting knowledge to those little ones and watching them develop into big boys and girls who KNOW some stuff! That's totally awesome. I would have never thought I'd be a proud Child Care Provider working for myself. I love A SISTER'S CARE...it means a lot to me.

I can't pretend like I MAKE music because I don't. I LOVE music and hope to help the ones who DO make music get their music heard by a lot of people. What can I say? I encourage ANYONE who has a dream or a vision of a side-gig to go get it started. Why not? What's really stopping you? What's the worse that could happen? Okay, don't answer that one...
